"I had the pleasure of meeting Ron today. I had reached out to his agency about a month ago in desperation afraid that my 45+ years relationship with State Farm may be coming to an end because of multiple errors and incompetence of my former State Farm agent. I dumped it all on Sandy and in less than a month she had it all sorted out, corrected, unnecessary fees waived and yesterday I received my FIRST accurate statement this year (this is September)!! I am so grateful. I appreciate your help, support, expertise and professional. Thank you!"

"I had stopped driving my broken vehicle, and I had thought I had my policy canceled. Because I wasn't using my vehicle. I ended up with a bill around $300, after arguing with them and talking about everything going on I finally buckled in and paid it. Even though they billed me incorrectly for the last few months. I thought everything was cleared up, I paid the $300. Then I canceled my account. And now they want to charge me for another month with another late fee after I already canceled. Not to mention the late fee came not even a month after I paid my last bills. (Conveniently it is around tax time) To me it seems like a lot of dishonesty, and it shows that a company is more concerned about the money they're receiving than their actual customers."

We strive to have clear communication with our customers and it’s disappointing to hear that we fell short of your expectations. After reviewing your account, it doesn’t appear we spoke with you or received any request to cancel or suspend your policy prior to your first phone call to us on 4/2. Cancelling and suspending policies is always an option for inoperable vehicles or vehicles not in use so long as they don’t have a loan on them, so this would’ve certainly been something we could’ve taken care of for you had we known. I definitely understand that unexpected increases in premium are extremely frustrating. I see how this could be frustrating & I apologize for any aggravation. We work very hard to ensure our customers receive the best service & provide clear communication to eliminate these types of issues. I’m sorry this wasn’t your experience. We’re grateful we had the opportunity to help you the past few years & wish you the best! "I have had State Farm insurance for 55+ years and had Ron Matthews as my agent for over 25 years. Ron and his office manager, Brenda Riffle, have performed in a proffesional and outstanding manner while always handling questions and claims immediately. I have never checked their rates because no amount of money could get me to change insurance companies because their service is above and beyond."

"Betsy and I noticed the State Farm building on our way home from our daily latte at Mc Donald's; and right on time. The next day, we had an appointment, got a complete quote for two autos and renters insurance. We signed for their fair rate and are confident to live and drive in Tennessee!"

"The Ron Mathews group has been so easy to work with! When a rock cracked my windshield on the interstate, all I did was call them and ask what to do. Kayla did all the work! She even made the appointment to get my windshield replaced by an approved business. They really make it so easy and really value your time! I am so thankful to have insurance through State Farm and Ron Mathews!!"

"I was dropped by Ron Mathews - State Farm after I had damage to my house from a lightening strike and a fallen tree in back to back years. They were glad to take my money when I didn't have any clams. I thought covering your clients when needed was the point of insurance companies. Would not recommend."

"My homeowner’s policy had been in effect since 1985. State Farm decided to not renew my policy since the home became a secondary residence. Then, they arbitrarily CANCELLED my policy four days prior to the policy end date, leaving me UNCOVERED before my new policy with another company was scheduled to begin. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS INSURANCE COMPANY!"

After reviewing your account, it appears that we were asking for documentation in order to continue the policy. We work really hard to communicate with our customers and ensure they always have a positive experience with our office, my apologies that you felt this situation couldn't be rectified.
